The Program Committee recently completed the Program Production Meeting for M&M 2005 and we are happy to report that we will have a record breaking number of presentations (over 1100!) at this meeting. We would like to thank all of you who submitted your work for inclusion in the meeting. Your platform and poster assignments should be coming from meeting management shortly. For those of you who would still like to submit your work for the meeting, this can be done via the late breaking poster mechanism. To participate in the late session, please send a one paragraph abstract to the Program Chair, Bob Price (Price@med.sc.edu), prior to the July 15, 2005 deadline. We look forward to seeing all of you in beautiful Hawaii for M&M 2005!! Sincerely,
Bob Price, M&M 2005 Program Chair |

There is a sudden and limited-time-only airfare war and drop in prices between islands on Hawaiian Airlines and Aloha Airlines. This would be your best opportunity to book flights to the neighbor islands before or after Microscopy & Microanalysis 2005 in Honolulu this summer. Fares are as low as $69 each way, and we haven't seen anything like that in quite awhile Both airlines also have decent fares from selected cities, mostly on the West Coast. I suspect Hawaii will have a banner tourist season this year, so I recommend looking at fights and hotel packages sooner rather than later. More tips as I hear about them! Aloha, Tina (LAC Chair) |

| Feb 18, 2005 | The Deadline for submission of Manuscripts has passed. If you would like to submit a late breaking poster contact the Program Chair Bob Price Price@med.sc.edu | |
