The MM2006 Meeting has closed. It was a successful meeting by all accounts and we broke all documented attendance records for the last 10 years, even though abit of warm weather hit Chicago during the meeting. Many thanks to all our attendees, exhibitors and especially to all the LAC volunteers who helped make this meeting a success.

The list of Late Breaking Posters is now available on-line. This poster session is scheduled for Monday July 31.

Once again the MSA Education Committee is organizing Exhibitor Demonstrations and Tutorials on Tuesday, August 1 starting at 5:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall. These mini-seminars or tutorial demonstrations are held in the booths of the participating companies after the Hall is closed to non-participants.

Reservations sheets with titles and descriptions will be at the MSA Education table in the MSA Mega Booth. When you sign up you will be issued a ticket, which you will need to renter the Hall after it is closed. You need to sign up no later than noon on Tuesday. The number of attendees is limited, so visit the MSA MegaBooth soon, since the demonstrations get filled up quickly!

This issue provides important meeting information and the daily schedule for the Microscopy & Microanalysis 2006 meeting in Chicago, IL. You may also download copies of the detailed program and events using this link.

August 4, 2005 The MM2006 LAC provided daily prizes of original Chicago Deep Dish Pizza each day during MM2005 in Hawaii. The winners of these pizza's were:

The Award consists 2 frozen deep dish pizza's delivered to the winner's home or office by Federal Express.
